Identical twins Courtney and Hillary Andujar are established genre filmmakers and production designers based out of Los Angeles. Attending UT Austin together, Courtney and Hillary have continually worked together artistically. Influenced by giallo films and erotic thrillers, they live for genre narratives that are subversive and show feminist and queer perspectives. The duo was included in Filmmaker Magazine’s“25 New Faces of Independent Film 2019” and were AMC Shudder Labs and Outfest Screenwriting Lab Fellows for their feature script LOVESPELL. The sisters have been credited as production designers on four feature films since 2018, including two Blumhouse productions FREAKY and VENGEANCE. They also served as production designers and segment directors on the horror anthology film SCARE PACKAGE, which was acquired by Shudder in May of 2020. They are currently developing their feature debut SNAKESKIN X227, a psychedelic sci-fi.
