Lara Jean Gallagher

Lara Jean Gallagher is a writer and director originally from rural Pennsylvania. She earned her Directing MFA from Columbia University and was named one of IFP's 2015 Emerging Storytellers. Her debut feature film, CLEMENTINE, was the only US-based project invited to the 2016 Venice Biennale College-Cinema Development Lab and premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival in the US Narrative Competition section, before being released in the US by Oscilloscope Laboratories. Most recently, her coming-of-age horror script, RED MOTHER was awarded the Westridge Grant from the San Francisco Film Society and is produced by Corporate Witchcraft and XYZ Films.
