Jared Moshé

JARED MOSHÉ is an award-winning writer/director based in Los Angeles. He wrote, directed, and produced A24’s The Ballad of Lefty Brown (SXSW) starring Bill Pullman, Kathy Baker, Jim Caviezel, Tommy Flanagan, and Peter Fonda in one of his final roles. The film received rave reviews and was honored at festivals around the world for Bill Pullman’s “career best” performance. 

An accomplished producer, he marked his transition to the director’s chair with the indie feature Dead Man’s Burden, which was ranked one of Paste Magazine’s “100 Best Westerns of All Time” and released theatrically in the US. Currently, he is in post-production on the sci-fi feature Aporia, which will be theatrically released this fall, and is developing a prestige TV project with Village Roadshow. 

Moshé has developed films with Bad Robot, XYZ Films, Mad Chance, Permut Presentations, and Paramount Pictures among others. His notable award-winning production credits include the Independent Spirit Award-nominated Silver Tongues(Slamdance Audience award winner), the A&E original documentary Corman’s World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel (Sundance, Cannes, NYFF) featuring Jack Nicholson, Low and Behold (Sundance), Beautiful Losers (SXSW, Locarno), and Kurt Cobain About a Son (Toronto), which was also nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. He has spoken at numerous festivals across the country.
