XYZ Films and partner Time Inc Studios have joined Protozoa Pictures on a heist project about the 2006 Securitas robbery in the UK that Darren Aronofsky is eyeing to direct.

Aronofsky will produce with Protozoa’s Scott Franklin alongside XYZ partners Nate Bolotin, Nick Spicer and Aram Tertzakian. Time Inc Studios chief Paul Speaker will serve as executive producer. Read Full Article

An ’80s-tinged tuner adaptation of “American Psycho” has begun the development process and is aiming for Broadway.

Legit version of the 1991 Bret Easton Ellis novel, about a 1980s Wall Street banker who is also a serial killer, will come from the Johnson-Roessler Co., management-production company the Collective and XYZ Films. Read Full Article
